Terms and Conditions
for Resin Art Workshops

Introduction
Welcome to Vitality Art Studio, where we offer workshops to teach the art of creating resin artwork. By booking and attending one of our workshops, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

Booking and Payment

• All workshop bookings must be made through our website or directly with our team.
• A payment of 50% of the full workshop fee is required at the time of booking to secure your spot.
• We accept deposit payments via bank transfer. Remaining balances can be paid in the studio on the day of the workshop via debit card, credit card, cash or bank transfer.
• Workshop fees are non-refundable unless stated otherwise (see Cancellation Policy).

Cancellation Policy

• Participant Cancellations:
  • Cancellations made more than 48hours prior to the workshop will receive a full refund minus a $25 administration fee.
  • Cancellations made within 48hours of the workshop will not be refunded, but you may reschedule for a future workshop within three months, subject to availability.
• Workshop Cancellations:
  • In the unlikely event that we must cancel a workshop due to unforeseen circumstances, we will provide a full refund or offer you the option to reschedule for another session.

Workshop Content and Materials

• Our workshops include all necessary materials for creating resin art, which will be provided to each participant.
• If you have any specific requests (e.g., allergies, preferences in materials), please inform us in advance so we can accommodate you as best as possible.
• While we aim to provide an enjoyable and informative experience, all projects are unique, and results may vary depending on the individual’s skill level and creativity.

Age Requirements

• Participants must be 13 years or older to attend the workshop.
• If a participant is under 13 years of age, they must be five years of age or older, and accompanied by a parent or guardian who is also registered for the workshop. No children under the age of five are permitted in the workshop at any time.

Health and Safety

• Resin materials used in our workshops may contain chemicals that could be harmful if not handled properly. We provide full instructions and safety guidelines at the beginning of each workshop.
• It is the responsibility of participants to follow all safety guidelines provided during the session.
• If you have any medical conditions (e.g., allergies, respiratory issues) or concerns regarding the materials, please inform us in advance.
• Participants are required to wear appropriate attire (e.g., old clothes or protective clothing) to avoid damage to personal belongings. We recommend wearing closed-toe shoes. We will provide you with an apron.

Liability

• While we take every precaution to ensure a safe and enjoyable workshop experience, participants agree to assume full responsibility for their actions during the workshop.
• Vitality Therapie Art Studio is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage to personal property incurred during the workshop.
• By attending the workshop, participants waive any claims against Vitality Art Studio, its employees, contractors, or agents.

Photography and Media

• Vitality Art Studio may take photographs or videos during workshops for promotional purposes. By participating, you consent to being photographed or filmed.
• If you prefer not to appear in any promotional media, please notify the instructor at the beginning of the session.

Code of Conduct

• Participants are expected to behave respectfully towards others, instructors, and staff during the workshop.
• Disruptive or unsafe behaviour may result in the participant being asked to leave the workshop without a refund.

Modifications to Terms

• Vitality Art Studio reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to participants through our website or directly via email.

Governing Law

• These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand.  Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New Zealand.
