‘Hope’ is the first piece in a growing collection exploring the complexity and beauty of human emotion.

Created through an intuitive layering of mixed media, predominantly premium-grade resin, ‘Hope’ is a reflection of what it feels like to hold on to something positive even when the path ahead isn’t always clear. For me, the process of creating this piece became an expression of that feeling.

The layers, movement and texture within the work are intentionally expressive. There is a sense of depth, energy and imperfection beneath the surface, reflecting the way emotions are rarely simple or one-dimensional. ‘Hope’ represents that quiet inner feeling that keeps us moving forward.

This piece marks the beginning of a collection inspired by human emotion – The Emotional Landscape – each artwork exploring a different feeling, experience or state of being through colour, texture, movement and intuitive mark-making.

Resin is a beautiful, durable medium, but like any fine artwork, it benefits from thoughtful care. To preserve the clarity, colour and finish of your piece for years to come, display it indoors in filtered natural light, avoiding direct sunlight or intense UV light. Keep it away from heat sources and significant temperature fluctuations. Clean the surface gently with a soft, dry microfibre cloth when needed.
