Her retail collections are available through select stockists across New Zealand under the name ‘Nicola Bedford Artistry and Design.’ She also has a growing body of custom and commissioned work. With a background in adult education and a passion for creativity, Nicola is building a reputation for producing thoughtful, handcrafted pieces inspired by the luminous qualities of cast glass.
At the heart of Nicola’s work is a love for creating meaningful and symbolic resin art designed to bring life to interior spaces and tell personal stories. She is especially drawn to creating pieces that capture the clarity, depth and light of cast glass, resulting in decorative artworks that feel both contemporary and timeless. Nicola often works closely with clients to develop custom artworks with personal significance, creating pieces that feel connected to the people and spaces they are made for.
Nicola also hosts both public and private resin art workshops from her studio, Vitality Art Studio, in Matakana, Auckland, where creativity is encouraged in a relaxed and welcoming environment. Her workshops are designed to guide participants step-by-step as they create their own decorative or functional resin art pieces, regardless of their experience level. Through her artwork and teaching, Nicola is dedicated to helping others mindfully explore their creativity.
